Mission-led Growth Dashboard

This data dashboard accompanies the report, 'Mission-led growth: a monitoring framework for large-scale government initiatives' which aims to provide a detailed analysis of the Levelling Up initiative, designed to address spatial inequalities across the UK.

This dashboard benchmarks performance data for each council in England with its Nearest Neighbour, the median of all local authorities in England and the average of the selected authority’s ten Nearest Neighbours. Users can see how the statistical relationship between similar places has changed over time and compare councils on a basis that does not rely solely on geographic proximity.

The main table shows data from 2019, when Levelling Up was launched, to the latest year available. The initiative was closed in July 2024.
