Oxford POGO Club - Letter to the Parliamentary Secretary at the Cabinet Office

This is a letter from 40 organisations and individual participants of the Oxford Procurement of Government Outcomes Club (Oxford POGO Club) to the Parliamentary Secretary at the Cabinet Office, Georgia Gould, MP, who is the new government's minister in charge of UK procurement. 

The focus is on transforming public procurement to be mission-driven. 

Five key ideas are offered:

1. Make procurement mission-driven
2. Strengthen public sector capability and capacity
3. Improve the digital tools and data that underpin UK procurement
4. Ensure that the Covid Corruption Commissioner delivers accountability
5. Reform oversight and dispute resolution.
