We expect great things from procurement and contract management professionals -- how can we strengthen and develop public procurement as a profession around the world?
- The OECD's Masayuki Omote will present insights from their January 2023 report, Professionalising the public procurement workforce.
- The Scottish Government's Nikki Archer FCIPS will discuss the Scottish Public Procurement Professionalisation Strategy and the Procurement People of Tomorrow (PPoT) Journey.
- George Washington University Professor Christopher Yukins will discuss the US federal government's approach to building capacity in the acquisition workforce.
The Procurement of Government Outcomes (POGO) Club is a knowledge sharing initiative that is open to anyone interested in capacity building in public procurement and in collaboration to improve social outcomes. We host monthly calls, maintain a mailing list, and share other resources. Participants come from many different disciplines, sectors, and countries. Our chair is Anne Davies, Professor of Law and Public Policy.
