Ben is a senior postdoctoral researcher focusing on the privatisation of health and social care services. Ben's work details the increasing rates of outsourcing of public services, the reasons for this, and the consequences for service users.
At BSG, Ben co-leads a project funded by the Nuffield Foundation titled: Evaluating the outsourcing of social care in England. Previously, Ben completed a PhD at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at the University of Oxford, where his thesis evaluated the privatisation of England's NHS.
