About Anders

Anders is an associate professor of social care and policy at Roskilde University and a senior postdoctoral researcher at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. His research focuses on the outsourcing and marketisation of social care services for adults and children, and he specialises in improving the documentation of this development. He also regularly provides methodological expertise on systematic reviews investigating a range of topics. 

Anders works at the intersection of public health, social care, and public policy. His work has been disseminated in journals, such as the BMJ, Nature Human Behaviour, Nature Aging, Lancet Healthy Longevity, Social Science & Medicine, and Age & Ageing.

Currently, he is co-leading a Nuffield Foundation funded project aimed at improving the evidence on social care outsourcing in England. You can learn more about the project here

He is also leading a Carlsberg Semper Ardens Accelerate project, 'The Privatisation Paradox', which explores the marketisation of social services in Denmark. You can read more about the project here.
